Here is the sewing foot that I have at home and its functions :
1. Ruffler Foot
These sewing foot are used for making small folds in the fabric with ordered spacing and width. The orange knob is used to adjust the depth of folds, while the top flap that is used to adjust the distance between the folds.
2. Buttonhole Attachment
For old-fashioned sewing machine has only one type of stitch (straight stitch), these foot can be used for making buttonholes. Sewing foot will grip the fabric and moving the fabric in such a manner so as to form a buttonhole. The way it works is the opposite from buttonhole foot on most portable sewing machine, in which the needle movesto form the buttonhole, while the fabric remains in position. This buttonholer attachment is equipped with several plate which have different sizes and models – to adjust the buttonhole that will be produced.

4. Free Motion Foot / Darning Foot
This foot is used for making free-motion quilting / needle moving freely. On a more expert users (not me!) this foot is also used to make the embroidery on the fabric.
5. Presser Foot
A standard foot, it is used for ordinary sewing.
